Will using a VPN get my account banned?
Using a VPN doesn't violate TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube's terms of service. But the type of IP matters. Datacenter VPNs (NordVPN, ExpressVPN, etc.) are often flagged because thousands of accounts share one IP — that looks suspicious. LowKeyVPN uses residential IPs, the same kind a real US home internet user has, so platforms treat you like a normal creator.
What's the difference between Starter and Pro?
Both plans use residential IPs — not datacenter. Starter gives you a shared residential IP (up to 20 users). Pro gives you a dedicated residential IP that's exclusively yours, which means zero history from other users and the highest trust score on platforms like TikTok. If you're serious about growth or managing multiple accounts, Pro is worth it.
What is a shadowban? Can LowKeyVPN help?
A shadowban (sometimes called '200 view jail' on TikTok) is when a platform silently limits your content reach without telling you. A suspicious IP is one known trigger — datacenter VPNs are a common cause. Switching to a residential IP removes that signal. LowKeyVPN won't fix shadowbans caused by other factors, but it eliminates IP-based triggers.
